Shimmer is made from combining holographic materials with very fine nylon fibers. It swims and breathes just like marabou, but is much more resilient. This tough material can be used as a substitute for any lure recipe that calls for traditionally delicate marabou. It has held up and proven itself against trout, bass, salmon, panfish and lakers. Tie flies like wooly buggers, crystal buggers, clousers, leeches, sand eels, streamers and minnow patterns.
